Here are some photo sceneries mainly covering the coast line of Northern and Eastern Seas (Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany) generated with Ortho4XP for testing as a little gift for you. I’m just preparing an update for these sceneries, new are included network and autogen and within land there are also transitions at lakes and bigger rivers. In the "bin" folder there is an executable "Ortho4XP_V120b.exe". Once you start this program, you need to check the base zoom level. I have it at 16. Higher zoom levels produce finer scenery at the cost of size, download time and frame rates. Then you need to tick "Custom overlay dir" and select your "X Plane 11 Global Scenery" folder. Note that this version of ortho4xp is in heavy development, oscar says it should be considered as an alpha, or even prealpha. Still, seems stable enough and it works really well for me, and the new UI is miles better than the old one. Waiting for an all-night ortho4xp download, only to discover it was incomplete in the morning due to some vague legal restriction, would be a bummer. Thanks Slim Pickens. I've only been doing one at a time and so far I've done from San Diego to San Luis without any problems (touch wood). If I do find any restrictions I will let you know. o7 Ortho4xp: looking for assistance. I'm a noob when it comes to ortho4xp but I didn't have to download elevation info for the UK or the US. I'm guessing ortho4xp doesn't automatically get elevation data as it did for the other regions?
